Shipping update....

I had expected to start shipping brads last Friday. I had forgotten, however to make up the gift bags I'm sending free with the brad pre-orders. I have them made up now, and the first 20 sets of brads are going out tomorrow. I expect to ship the next 20 by Thursday. I sure didn't want to forget the freebies!!!

Brads are close to shipping!

I had hoped to ship out the first of the brads today, but it's taking a bit more time to get them ready than I thought. I am putting color labels on all of the baggies this time and consequently it's taking more time than I anticipated. Judging by the rate I'm going, I expect to start printing the shipping labels tomorrow, and I have a pickup scheduled. I should have them all shipped by the middle of next week! As with the eyelets, I will be shipping in the order payment was received.

The winner of the "guess the weight of 1,980,000 brads" contest is.......pattyjo! The total weight is 141 kilos or 308 lbs. Patty's guess was 310 lbs! Amazing!!

I'm sure I wouldn't have done as well, and thanks for the fun guesses!

It's not the best picture in the world, but you can see them all. I'm still holding the presale for 10% off until October 1st. We hope to open our website by then. At that point, you can purchase individual colors to replenish your sets. I'm going to start counting the eyelets tonight and get them shipped out next week, hopefully Monday. This counting process won't take as long because I'm not counting them all, just enough to fill the paid orders.

Great News and Contest!!

I received notification today that the brads have cleared customs. I will be able to pick them up on Monday from the warehouse. I expect it to take a week to count enough to send out the preorders and get them all shipped. I will post a photo tomorrow (providing I can find the camera, card reader, and computer all at the same time) of the samples I received from the manufacturer.

I'm so excited to see these brads I can't put it into words!

So, here's another contest: Send me an e-mail, PM on SCS, or comment on this post your guess of the weight of the brads. I ordered 33,000 brads of each color and 66,000 black ones. I just did the math, and that means I ordered 1,980,000 brads!!! Yikes!

Anyway, whoever guesses the closest to the weight of the brads and packaging will receive a free gift from me. You have until September 15th to send me your guess. Here's a little hint: The brads are coming to me in 7 different cartons....have fun guessing! LOL

I'm Baaaaack!! Finally!! Brad presale extended!

Whew!! It's been an adventure with getting internet hooked up at our new house. We were supposed to have it hooked up nearly a week ago, but I just got it as of a few minutes ago. I wanted to post here first to reassure everyone who is waiting for a return e-mail from me that I will be working my way through the e-mails tonight and tomorrow until I have responded to everyone.
