Internet Interrupted!!

Just a quick note to let everyone know that it may take me 24 hours or more to answer e-mail inquiries. As many of you know, we're in the middle of a move to a country home and it's a long wait for satellite internet to get hooked up. Until September 1st, we will have limited access (I have to drive to our old home to connect) to the internet.

If you're patient, I will get to your mail. If you don't hear from me in 3 days after your initial inquiry, feel free to send me another, just in case!!

Just a Quick Note

I forgot to include the address of my new site in my previous post. It's found at www.pinkhedgehogpapercrafts.com. It's not yet open for business, but you can take a peek. I've got a few more ribbons to photograph and get put up and then I can open.

I'd also like to thank my talented and brilliant hubby for building my site for me. Isn't he great!!??

Thanks everyone for your inquiries!!

Custom Colored Brads Presale!

I have had tons of inquiries into doing custom colors of brads just like my eyelets.

Well, the time has come. I ordered brads a couple of months ago from a manufacturer in Taiwan. They are literally on a slow boat from China (ha ha) and I just received notification that they arrived in a US port.

Many of you know that I'm starting a new website centered around bulk buys. I will be selling all of the ribbons I've sold in the past on my blog and other shares on SCS, plus many new ribbons, and we will add new products every month as our business grows. You will be able to get bulk pricing on many kinds of ribbons, plus custom colored eyelets, brads, and more. To start with, I'll have the standard round eyelets and mini brads. You'll be able to purchase brads and eyelets in sets, just like my shares or in larger quantities of individual colors for large projects.

So, in honor of the occasion and to feed the frenzied stampers who long for them, I'm having a special preorder sale on my brads.

Just as with my eyelets, you will receive 3,000 brads in 59 colors. You'll get 50 each of 48 colors, 6 "in" colors, and 5 neutral colors, plus 100 black brads. A 1/2 share will be 1/2 the amount of each color (25).

The normal price on my website for a full share is $75, and a 1/2 share is $40. If you do the math, this means the price per brad for a full share is $.025! That is 1/2 the cost of other sellers for a unique product not available anywhere else.

From now until September 7th, you will receive a 10% discount on the price of either share. The Full share will have a sale price of $67.50 and the 1/2 share is $36. In order to qualify for the discount, you must order and pay by September 7th. This will also put you at the top of the shipping list for my brads. As soon as they're in and counted, you'll get your brads. A $4.60 shipping charge also applies to the order for priority shipping and delivery confirmation. Canadian customers have the same shipping costs. Other international customers, please inquire for shipping costs. I just want to mention that I'm happy to combing shipping costs if you get more than one share or friends want their shares shipped together. Also, no PayPal fees will be added if you choose to pay with PayPal.

In addition to this, you will qualify for a free gift bag to be shipped to you with your brads. My gift bags include at least 5 yards of ribbon samples, plus 25 brads and 25 eyelets. These are always a standard item on my site with each $50 ordered.

To order, drop me an e-mail at pinkhedgehogpapercrafts@gmail.com or send me a PM on SCS.

Shipping Update

I have packed and labeled most of the shares already. I will drop them all at the PO tomorrow morning. If you don't get your share next week and you are sure you paid, please, please contact me. I expect everyone to have them in their homes (yay!! not in mine!!!!) by the end of next week, most will probably arrive Monday or Tuesday.

I have quite a few cases where I was unable to match someone's SCS name to their real name and/or payment.

If you have not yet paid, but ordered a share I am still willing to sell you your share, just drop me a line. I am even willing to purchase more eyelets to meet the demand.

Thanks everyone, and I know you'll love these cute little things!

Help!!

I need some help identifying people who have sent me payments. In most of these cases, someone would contact me asking for a share, then send me a check in the mail with minimal or no information on the envelope. I use the envies to make sure I send out all payments received by US mail. I'm looking for the following individuals:

I am specifically looking for 2 people named Dawn. I have both marked as unpaid, but at least one has paid, but I'm not sure which and don't want to send to the wrong one.

I also am looking for someone who had a check sent directly from their bank with no address on the envie to send the eyelets to. The envie was postmarked in San Jose, CA, I can't tell what date.

I am looking for someone with the last name of Jacobs from Jordan, UT. They probably gave me only their first and SCS names and there was no identifying info in the envelope, except for the check, which has been cashed.

The last one is someone from Moberly, MO. No other info on the envelope or inside other than the return address on the front. It was postmarked on May 17.

I realized belatedly that I needed to check the envies before cashing the checks in case there was no identifiers on the envies themselves. If you know anyone who fits these descriptions or if you are one of these people, please contact me about your share.

Thanks!!

Unbelievable!!!

I am going to be counting the last, the very last, yippee, yay, super!!! color of eyelets this morning. Can I just say I dream in little spotted metallic circles? Oh boy!!

After the counting is finished, I'll pull out my trusty manilla envelopes and sort them all into sets. I hope to start packaging them for shipping this afternoon. I will ship the oldest first, in other words, those who paid first will get first shipping priority. I will post updates on the progress of this as well. I have nearly all of the sets sold, but I'll order more eyelets if there are more people interested. Feel free to tell your friends and fellow stampers, especially once you get these beauties in hand!

I really appreciate all of you who jumped on this ship early in the voyage and paid ahead to make this buy possible. It's been a long journey and you all have been so patient!

If you paid via PayPal, you will receive a delivery confirmation number e-mailed to you by PayPal.
OK, back to counting!

40 Colors Done!

I finished the 40th color last night. I'm really pushing to finish the counting by the end of the week so I can start shipping next week. I will ship in order paid, as it seems the most fair. I'll update when I get to 50, then to 60.

Needless to say, I'm seeing spots in my dreams!

The Counting is Plodding Along!!

This is what 300,000 eyelets counted into baggies looks like!

The good news is I'm 1/2 way there, and the bad news is that I'm 1/2 way there!

I have 30 of the 59 colors counted out now. It's taking a bit longer than I anticipated. I estimated 40 hours of counting, and in reality it's taking about 1.5 hours per color. So, you are looking at 45 hours of counting. Each of the bins above contains one of the colors, counted into 50's in little baggies. I have the 25's (for 1/2 shares) also counted and in a larger bag in the bin.

We are also moving, but be reassured that I'm planning on getting everything counted and shipped before the move. Also, just to further reassure you, it's a local move, only 12 miles away to a home in the country. We're in no hurry to get everything packed and moved in a day. We haven't sold our home yet, and this was a sudden decision to move. We only looked at the house about 3 weeks ago!

The biggest thing taking time is the counting process. Luckily, the kids are helping out and they bag as I count (with the scale). It's going really well, and all of the colors are amazing!!! I hope to finish the counting by the end of the week and then package and label the following week, or this coming weekend. I'll be posting updates here so you know how the counting goes.

Anyone wanting to RAK my boys for helping out so much, please send me a PM or e-mail and I'll give you their names and addy.

Meanwhile, are you exercising your Crop-a-Dile muscles???
